I'll tell you what I have really been deinalg with a garden of bitterness in my life and I didn't even know it was there. Just a few weeks ago, in a spirit of prayer, I asked God to reveal things that were blocking my life and one was a big patch of bitterness. Whew! As soon as I acknowledged it, I felt that instant burning sensation that comes with remembering the wrongs done to me and I asked God to forgive me for harboring resentment and even hatred and asked Him to remove those weeds from my life. It was a process one I'm still undergoing but God is good. Forgiving someone who wronged me long ago with whom I have no contact any longer came with a humongous sense of RELIEF! A burden rolled away and I have actually felt a deeper connection with the Lord. More than anything, I realized just how much my selfishness and pride (which demanded retribution) kept me from an intimate walk with my Lord.I have to regularly ask HIM to reveal these areas in me. I walked for a long time without even knowing they were there whether I tried to just ignore them first, I can't even remember but I ask God to SHOW ME where I need to take a rake and cut back the weeds that keep me from HIM and HIS PLANS for me.

Two people itnatsnly come to mind when I think forgiveness My husband and my step-dad. All through high school, my step-dad (who has now admitted to this, since finding Christ) did everything in his power to make my life harder. I was already struggling with depression and self-esteem issues because I had just started to really make friends when they decided to get married. We had to move to the other side of the country. I had an even harder time making friends in California. I didn't agree with a lot of things my peers were doing, I was extremely shy and just packed on another shell to hide my true self when we moved, and on top of that, my step-dad refused to ever let me leave the house without the rest of the family. He has changed a lot, but in some ways he hasn't. I still have some problems with him, although I've learned better, more mature ways to deal with these problems. I've forgiven him for a lot but I am definitely still a long way from the end of that journey. As for my husband, we have just had a LOT f ups and extreme downs. With both people I listed, there was a lot of emotional/psychological abuse as well as small amounts of physical abuse. That is something that I have always been afraid of and felt I would never be able to forgive someone for. I CAN'T forgive someone for it. However, I have given it to God and he can cleanse that from our lives and our minds. Things are not fully resolved, but we are working to eliminate these things and to forgive and leave the past in the past.

This is a topic that I believe is very hard topic for aoynne to discuss, but I will take a shot at it. I do believe that you must be compatible and have some interest alike, there must be attraction with one another is a BIG plus and both male and female need to do there part in keeping the intimacy alive, it can not be one sided. Now! When trust is been destroyed there is a 50/50 chance that any relationship can regain intimacy, reason why is because who ever lost trust have a consistent battle of letting down their guard to be able to WOW there partner or spouse all drive is killed! Also when you have to try to hard to get the others attention it generally means their Just Not Interested!! Give the Hell up! Now the positive side to this I believe that couples build off respect for one another, surprise each with gifts from the heart, make time from all distraction and focus on creating a romantic evening together, and I mean be creative! Now, for men in my OPINION need to make an effort in listening to there woman no matter how difficult or boring the conversation my be with a loving effort, maybe when she say she is stress from work to give a ma*sage or run her bath water, anything that can tell I can and let me make you comfortable. I believe role playing is fun and can break the ice for any relationship. However, for women in my OPINION can do exactly the same thing for a man, given him a bath, rubbing his feet, ma*saging his shoulders especially because men are not a big communicator woman may need to do less talking and focus on helping him to relax.Like I said it needs to be shared, and both male and female are somewhat similar and both need love. To create intimacy needs to be no self interest involved on both sides and have a geniune, love and concern for one anther. Here's another opinion, I feel if one person is affectionate and the other is non-affection it can't work, because the affectionate person will miss out on what they truly desire. Intimacy can foster open communication and may deepen the relationship and when people are non-affectionate they could be missing out on the deeper meaning of love. We must create intimacy with God, by spending or given devotional time and interest in him and in return we get fell with love beyond our beliefs. God wants us to be intimate with him, however we're so focus to self and self-needs that we fell to give and I'm guilty of that also. Anyway love one another unconditionally with the deepest and purest of our being to create and receive intimacy.

I can't wait to see these films-we are definitely lacking quality, Christian values in many of our current movies. What a powerful and essential way to share the Gospel to our society!

Forgiveness is a choice, right on; you choose love instead of hate, when you make that choice it is for your own benefit, we all need to make that choice to love our enemies, it's easy to love the people that we like, but it God wants us to love the people that we don't like. :)
